چکیده
10 Rillington Place names the site of temporally extensive practices murder (1943–1953), and offers an empirical entry point for critically advancing conceptual innovations relational approaches to criminological study ‘home’. In so doing, paper, firstly, (re)conceptualises serial homicide as practice, more specifically a mode domestic labour which materialises in is enacted through dynamics everyday residential life; secondly, rejects notion ‘home’ argues concept dwelling better capture active, generative fluid life. This subtle shift approach acknowledges how domus horribilis etched from, woven topological entanglements extreme practices, moves us toward alternative set commitments our research space. Drawing from mixed portfolio cultural media (including archival, epistolary, journalistic, photographic, filmic, architectural, museological dramaturgical data), paper takes forward Schatzki’s ontology organising framework practice-based analytics, advances critical insights embryonic criminology domestic.
